Desperately lost

It wasn't that bad but almost got a heart attack! Christmas is approaching so I thought I might bake some cookies and it is really boring when you don't have anything to listen to. So I took my laptop with the power cored and was about to remove it to my kitchen. The power cord got stuck and the laptop (on and open) flew on the tiled floor, scratching heavily my kitchen wall on its way. So saaaad! I even shed a tear for my laptop because it started with some crunchy sound and wanted to formate my harddisc. How can I (blond woman, linguistically skillful, technical antitalent) formate a harddisk and deal with a broken laptop???
But...End's well, all's well. There are happy endings in real life too! My IT prince bough a new disc drive, installed it with Windows 7 (good bye freaking Vista) and my laptop is as good as new! All this within 2 working days! I can't be more gratefull! I don't want to be offline ever again. Even if it were for 2 days!

November ain't over yet

I randomly checked 2009 and 2008 headlines on my blog and found out that the history repeated! Apparently the autumns have been the same one after another in past few years and nothing new is happening in my life...
Vienna trip has been planned for next weekend so - check. Concert season has commenced: November concert of MIG21 at Fleda - check. Jirka Macháček was cool as usual, no change here Movie - I went to see the first half of last installment of Harry Potter movie (HP and the Deathly Hallows) - check. Sushi becomes a tradition - check. This time I went with my Mum. It was her first time to sushi restaurant and I think she liked it though she wasn't totally mad about it (what is there so special about a raw fish and rice in soya sauce?). And it is raining a lot (every November).
And I almost forgot to mention baby boom! All around me but November has nothing to do with it this time. My best friend has had a baby too! I haven't had a chance to meet Darina yet but the time will come...soon!
