Bloodspill

It has been my dream since childhood. People who donated blood meant a world to me and I always knew that I can rely on them and that this quality guarantees trust. Why would someone give away the most precious liquid? Samaritanism is fashionable these days but as far as blood is concerned, you hardly ever meet a soulmate. So I decided to do it just all alone. It paid in the end. Blood is pouring away from your body and you are contemplating if you did the right thing. If there is nothing left of me in this world, my blood pack will be safe in a hospital fridge and eventually it may save someone's life. This is the way how to make myself unintentionally usefull. Is my blood donation an objective excuse for being so selfish? Indeed, I am selfish.

P.S.: I hope the Cullens or Salvatore Brothers are nowhere near Faculty Hospital of Bohunice:-D

Thanks for sharing this :) I wish I could have gotten blood from someone I know back in April, when I had my first 2 transfusions... gotta say, it's a bit scary being on the receiving end. Hoping to "repay" one day...
P.S. Got pictures of it too :D

oh and I'm VERY PROUD of you!!!

You had transfusion in April? Why? Because of Jacob?
