My bedroom is a nicer place to sleep in now. I finally bought a carpet (of beige colour), which replaced a 25-year old carpet (yuck!). Morevover, new chest of drawers, some furniture shuffling and clean window brough fresh wind of change into my sleeping kingdom. The overwhelming and fresh smell of novelty cheered me up in the time before Christmas. So which part of the flat is next? I wish I could rebuilt the kitchen but I can't unless I buy my own flat. Which is very unlikely.
