Big Day for Beute Family

Last April day was a wedding day for my friends Katka and Victor - unforgettable event with perfect timing! My lack of sense for timing (that day) caused that I almost came late to the ceremony, which was really worth seeing...fancy dresses (what a coincidence - me and Radka had both dotted dresses but I swear we didn't agree on it), beutifull bride, smiling groom, scents, champagne, languge babylon, cute babies running around and official's heroic speech.

The ceremony was followed by a walk via Spilberk Castle to Brewery Restaurant at Mendlovo namesti. On the first floor there is an aula where the couple managed to fit around 60 people! The feast was awesome and I really have to mention the great "svíčková" we had (and which I almost missed). Unfortunately I (in a dotted dress) was by mistake considered a vegetarian - means I got minestrone soup instead of proper broth. A Dutch girl in a dotted dress at the other part of the long table was a reall vegetarian and she got my broth instead of her minestrone soup. Everyone around me had svíčková so I had to increase my voice to get it too:-) Sooo yummyyy!
After the lunch/dinner (how do we call a meal at 4 o'clock p.m.?) - linner/lunner/whatever - the party started. More guys showed up, brought a bunch of funny activities - both the Czech and the Dutch parts - and also Queensday was not neglected (though we were not aware of the sad circumstance that happened that day in Holland - a guy crushed with his car into a crowd and killed several people, though he wanted to kill the Queen). Orange colour rocks!
