Mucha in Vienna...another trip

Saturday was a trip day to Vienna with a colleague of mine. Combination of a cultural event and rollerskating paid in the end.
First stop was to Lower Belveder to Alfons Mucha exhibiton. Alfons Mucha was a Czech decorative artist famous for his Art Noveau posters and a cycle The Slav Epic. Each room was dedicated to one field of his work - posters, book illustrations, architectural decorations, canvases, the Slav Epic etc. We met many Czechs there as Alfons Mucha was pretty well-known and popular.

Second part of the trip was the rollerskating event on Donauinsel - an island in the Danube river. It is about 40 km long with nice tracks to walk, ride a bike or rollerskate. There are also nice pubs along those tracks so beer is a must. We made 25 km and after one "radler" beer I fell asleep with my head on the table:-)

Being culturally and physically exhausted, I was sleeping, reading and watching movies all Sunday. That's simply me!:-)
